The Amazing Rhythm Aces To Appear At Film Festival

FLORENCE, Ala. - The Amazing Rhythm Aces will be this year's entertainment at the Awards Show After-Party for the George Lindsey UNA Film Festival. The party will be held at Cypress Moon Studios, 1000 Alabama Avenue, in Sheffield, Alabama.

The Grammy Award-winning Amazing Rhythm Aces, featuring singer-songwriter Russell Smith, "Fantastic Willie T." (Billy Earheart), Kelvin Holly, Mark Horn, and Lorne Rall, brought music lovers such memorable hits as "Third Rate Romance," "The End is Not in Sight " (The Cowboy Tune), and "Amazing Grace" (Used to Be Her Favorite Song). Tickets for the party are $10 and are available at McGraw's Coffee, Rivertown Coffee, Coffee-ol-ogy, the festival Welcome Center located in the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts, and at the UNA Bookstore. The George Lindsey UNA Film Festival is one of the few film festivals hosted by a university. The event was founded in 1998 by UNA alumnus and celebrated actor and entertainer George Lindsey. Lindsey's own film career has included several important roles, including the character Goober Pyle on "The Andy Griffith Show."
