FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of North Alabama's student music label, Singing River Records, will hold a CD release party and showcase March 30 for its new artist Michael "Clem" Clements' new CD, "Enhanced." The event will begin at 8 p.m. at The Ark's Keynote Room in downtown Florence. Opening acts include Lee Taylor and Dillon Hodges. Admission price is $5 and includes a copy of Clements' new CD. Singing River Records is a music label housed in UNA's Department of Entertainment Industry, enabling students to produce, manage and market a music album. Last fall, the students chose Clements from a pool of several applicants for its 2009-10 album. Clements is the third artist produced by Singing River Records. The label has also produced contemporary Christian artist Lee Taylor and pop artist and UNA student Rachel Pochop. Pochop's album included a song written UNA student Kris Cochran, who moved into the producer's chair for Clements' album. The release of Clements' new CD also comes with the release of his new music video, "Losing You," directed by Brad Thompson of UNA's film and digital media program. Watch the music video!
